Gathering Music for Sunday, September 28

Two more contrasting pieces from the Scarlatti musical multiverse: K 466, a melancholy piece. Chopin really liked Scarlatti, and here you can see how some of the harmonies may have influenced him. Chopin was a century after Scarlatti, so this is quite impressive. And then I'll play K 431, his shortest sonata, a cheerful piece.
