Breakfast for Pastor Stuart this Sunday, 9:00–9:45 am

Everyone is invited to enjoy snacks this Sunday morning as we help Pastor Stuart get ready for his sabbatical. He will go on a pilgrimage in Scotland, following the footsteps of early Celtic Christians who brought the gospel into new areas for the first time. While this is a deeply spiritual journey, it is not without considerable costs. The Personnel Committee believes that many in our church would welcome the opportunity to support him and participate in that pilgrimage by helping with the costs. There will be a basket for cards of encouragement and practical support.

This is a very tangible way for our church family to show how much we value the incredible leadership and guidance Pastor Stuart has provided during the last 7 years. A designated fund has been set aside in the church budget to collect donations (note "Pastor Sabbatical" on a check contribution).

While we will certainly miss him during the time he is away, we know this is a well-deserved time of study, reflection, and spiritual renewal. We are also confident that we will be the beneficiaries of his renewed spirit and enhanced knowledge. And while he is away, many good folks will bring messages on Sunday during worship as well as Bible Study on Wednesdays—some old friends and new.

So come this Sunday for food, fellowship, to offer support, and to hear about where Pastor Stuart will be going!
