La Esperanza Family Fun Day

On Thursday, the church hosted a luncheon for La Esperanza, a local ministry for Hispanic families. Around thirty people attended (in addition to Pastor Stuart, Nic, Kathy, Jan, Elaine, Marilyn, and Philip who helped facilitate the event), many hotdogs were consumed, and many balloons were blown up (and then popped). It was a lovely day for all involved and a wonderful opportunity for intercultural and interdenominational engagement.
