Welcoming Music, from Brian Zaymn

The slow middle movement of Beethoven's eighth piano sonata, the "Pathetique," was and is very popular among classical music lovers. The whole sonata is wonderful, and I encourage you to listen to the fast movements as well. Written in 1798 when Beethoven was 27 years old, it was instantly popular. (The slow movement was used as the intro theme for the radio show Adventures in Good Music.)
