Meals for the Mountains
Throughout the month of July, our church will be part of an effort through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina's disaster response team, to feed children in our area. We have been assigned ten families. CBFNC is providing most of the food and supplies for the immediate program, but we can provide long-term supplies for the families the first week of July. Speak with Nic Varner for details.
If you would like to contribute, please bring any of the following items to Nic’s office before by Sunday, June 22:
• Flour (we will need 50 pounds total)
• Sugar (we will need 40 pounds total)
• Ketchup (we will need 10 large bottles total)
• Mustard (we will need 10 large bottles total)
• Mayo (we will need 10 large bottles total)
• Salt, pepper, and garlic salt
• Vegetable Oil (we will need 10 large bottles total)
• Jelly (we will need 10 large jars total)
• Peanut Butter (we will need 10 large jars total)
• Kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and body-wash
• Dishwashing detergent (we will need 10 large bottles total)
• Laundry detergent (we will need 10 large bottles total)
• Large empty cardboard boxes or other containers (around 10 total needed)
