Disaster Relief Mission Work Opportunities

Next week, the work team Ground Zero Grace will be back to stay with us as they continue rebuilding our area. Their work days will be Friday & Saturday, May 9 & 10, and anyone is welcome to help. They continue to work at sites in Burnsville, Barnardsville, and in Weaverville on Ox Creek. You can also have dinner with the team that Friday at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. If you’re interested in helping, contact Dale Spivey or Stuart. There will also be good disaster relief work going on in Spruce Pine those same days (Fri. & Sat., May 9 & 10). The pastor of Central Baptist there had catastrophic damage to his home from the hurricane. A team from First Baptist Sylva will be working to refurbish it (finishing drywall, laying carpet, etc.).
