To help us understand what a good Christian example looks like, Paul shows us the opposite: someone who wastes time on meaningless talk and doesn't actually know what they're doing. Paul, however, boasts only of how amazing God's grace is that it would cover all his mistakes. But can you be a good example or leader if you admit mistakes??
