Senior Meal Site May Fundraiser!

The Weaverville Senior Dining & Wellness Program has been in existence for over 40 years. We operate Monday–Friday, 9:00 am to 12:45 pm in the Fellowship Hall. First Baptist has been generous over the years to donate the space for us to use each week. We are one of four Senior Dining Programs in Buncombe County, but the only one that relies on donations to fund the director's salary and provide what is needed to run the program each day. Meals are provided by state and federal grants through Council on Aging of Buncombe County.  All proceeds benefit our Senior Program, which is vital to seniors in our community!

Please come show your support on Saturday, May 17th, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Dinner will provided by Blue Mountain Pizza, which includes pizza, salad, drink & dessert (donation only). We will have raffle prizes, an auction, and more.
