Thanksgiving Food Collection

We are collecting staple food items for Weaverville United Methodist Church, which they will be distributing to food-insecure members of our local community this month. All donations must be brought in, at the latest, by the time of the Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23, at 6:00 PM. After the service, the Methodists have invited us into their fellowship hall to put the foodstuffs into care-packages. Please either place supplies outside of Nic's office or bring them to the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23, at 6:00 PM. 

The foods being collected are as follows: 

• Bags of Potatoes

• Canned Ham

• Plain Macaroni (just pasta, not mac'n'cheese)

• Canned Green Beans

• Canned Corn

• Bags of Masa

• Dried Pinto and/or Black Beans.
